Bad day

Yeah, with Crohns you have good days and bad days. Just like anyone else at any other time.
A bad day with this diesease is during a flare-up. Cramps...bad painful cramps, with sometimes
nothing coming out. 8 or more trips to the bathroom pot. Your bum bills like raw hamburger at
times from the moisture and from wiping so much. I on the other hand am semi lucky. I have
what is called an Iliotomy. That is a bag attached to my abdominin where my bile goes now. This
was done the 3rd or 4rth day of my first hospitol stay to alleviate the pain and so my bum could
heal from the 2 other surgeries that were done. In layman terms the lower part of my poop shoot don't really work. I only have seepage from there because it still generaltes its own stuff
in your intestines and it has to go somewhere. I have no control there either. So this being my first real flare up it does have me we bit concerned but thru research I have come to expect certain things. My seepage will have blood in it. Maybe a little more then usual because I am also on comindine for a blood clot I so gracously aquired my last hopitol visit. The cumidin is like a blood thinner. It takes the capablilty for your blood to clot away and you have to be careful not to bruise yourself.
The Iliostomy bag is good for me at the moment because it minimizes anything going thru my painful bum. Still a bad day involved being real tired and feeling down. I have slept from bout 10 am till bout 2 pm in afternoon. Thats not normal for me. The steriods they have me on is rough. Swelling terribily so the heat don't help. Ok..was just told have to go out for errand..pick up more supplies for my iliostomy. I'll add more later.
